I am Jared Brandt Hoover, thank you so much for visiting my website, let me tell you a little bit about myself.
My interests are hiking, animals and of course, music. I love hiking. I find solitude on the trail, sometimes that is a necessary diversion from musical theater. My family, friends, and I hike locally whenever we get the chance. This past May, I got the chance to go on a 15-mile rugged hike on the Cumberland Plateau. This and other short trips are preparation for my ultimate goal of a thru- hike on the Appalachian Trail.

When I can't get outdoors to find creatures in the wild, I enjoy watching my turtle. And giving her the best life possible. I also work at my local zoo and provide tours, feedings, and animal education to both youth and adult visitors alike. Zoology is a second passion of mine that I can’t live without, just as much as theatre!
I have loved musical theater for as long as I can remember. From the time I played the frog in The Princess and the Frog in fifth grade. But realistically, it was my Grandfather, my voice teacher, who really lit my fire. He had me singing everything from Latin hymns to show tunes. Some of my favorite memories are from our time in his basement, him playing piano and me singing.

I am a 2022 graduate of Point Park University Conservatory of Performing Arts. I am currently I have truly been able to broaden my knowledge and my versatility while at school here, I am thankful for all the performance and training opportunities that have been presented to me.

So this is me. Performing is the life I choose to live. I hope to be on a stage near you someday soon!
